There is a strong body of evidence that highlights how specialist support to help with the psychological impact of cancer can reduce anxiety, depression and trauma and can help individuals deal with their illness more effectively. There is also a growing body of evidence highlighting the inter relationship between positive mental health and physical health.
Professor Davidson and his team between them have many years of experience working with cancer patients and their families. The team also work closely with the medical staff in Noble's Hospital, Clatterbridge Hospital and Belfast Cancer Centre.
